Do you have some dreaded To-Do’s that you just keep putting off? Are they stressing you out? To-Do’s that stay on our list will keep us from ever accomplishing what we really want and need. These three quick tips will help you get through what you need to get done.
Tip #1: Do It Now!
Stop putting things off—either get it done or take it off your list of to-do’s. Procrastination is a dream-killer. Just stop it! Anytime you have something to do, either do it now, or don’t do it at all.
Putting things off will only lead to stress and aggravation.
Tip #2: Take Baby Steps
Live in a world of baby steps. Small progress leads to big change.
We often think that motivation is about doing big things, but it’s actually about doing little things over and over again. Take those baby steps consistently and you will eventually take a huge leap forward.
Tip #3: Be Accountable
Find an accountability partner and have that person hold your feet to the fire. We may not want to stick to our commitments, but if someone is there to hold us accountable then it will get done.
Find a person who is also looking to develop himself or herself. Be supportive of one another, but be tough.
